Support Community
Support Community provides Respite care, IO Waiver, Level 1 Waiver and Adoption Support Services for individuals with special needs and their families. We provide temporary relief to caregivers by providing quality support services to our clients. Our programs offers a supportive and nurturing approach to assist parents/guardians with short-term relief. Additionally, we provide case management, information and referrals to needed services such as counseling, vocational programs and medical services. Our goal is to give Support and encouragement, reducing stress and improving the overall function of the family.
Circle of Friendships
A day camp program of Inner Circle Communities, geared toward families with disabilities, provides an opportunity for families to relax and have fun in a safe environment. This therapeutic camp offers activities that will aid in holistically developing each child socially, mentally and physically. Each client’s needs are customized and integrated into the daily activities. To ensure the safety of our clients the ratio of client to camp aid ranges from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on the individual needs. All counselors are trained and qualified to deliver adequate services in a supportive environment and will have a minimum of 1 year experience. Activities such as horseback riding, art and music therapy, crafts, social recreation and field trips are incorporated into the daily schedule. Community H.O.P.E.
(Helping Individuals with Opportunities, Placement and Empowerment) Community H.O.P.E. is a vocational/habilitation program that provides social interaction between the clients of C-HOPE and the community at-large. This specialized program is geared towards Adults with disabilities and assists them in obtaining the vocational/habilitation skills they need to become more involved in their community and potentially obtaining a job. We encourage and advocate for businesses, other social programs and volunteers to work with our clients that have emotional-behavioral concerns. Our goal is to provide job training, recreational activities and improve the client’s overall social skills. The C-HOPE program provides independence through computer skills, pre-vocational skills, ethics and activity based motor and tactical skills. We understand the many challenges and needs of our clients and their families and we want to be flexible as possible to ensure we meet their needs.
